“Placed an order 9th July. Received shipping confirmation 10th July stating 2 working day delivery. Emailed customer service 16th July to say I had still not received order. No response from customer service. Still waiting on my order. Not the first time I have used the ratchet shop but will possibly be the last.”

“Following an on-line search I found the straps and short chain I wanted at The Ratchet Shop and, good news, they were in stock. Ordered at 9:00 Tuesday and paid for overnight delivery expecting them on the Wednesday (they were needed for a specific job on the following day). They didn't arrive and with chasing was told that the chain was in stock but not available for shipping because it had to made up (which effectively delayed the other items being shipped) - depends on your definition of 'in stock'. Amazon, for example, would automatically ship items that were in stock rather than delay the entire shipment. Finally arrived Friday - in reality too late for the specific job (and not reflecting the premium paid for overnight delivery). Disappointed because I didn't read some of the reviews where others seem to have had the same issue, and dissapointing becaue the products, when they arrived, weren't bad.”

Hi There, thanks for getting back to us, we understand that not having these goods with you the next day didn't help as you had an urgent requirement. With all chain products that are being used for lifting or lashing we have to take our time to ensure these are assembled and certified correctly, although these parts are listed as "In Stock" we do have a note across all lifting / lashing chain pages explaining if your need for either product is urgent to please give us a call as we will always try to accommodate to your timeframe; of course, during busy time periods we can't meet 100% of these requests if we do receive a call prior to ordering. We did of course upgrade this to an AM service to make sure this was with you as quickly as possible, it's unfortunate to hear that this was still too late for the job at hand and we hope this didn't cause too much inconvenience overall. Going forward we understand your hesitation if you were to be looking to purchase any other parts we stock however if you do feel like purchasing from us again please do give us a call and we will make sure your next order will be a better experience. “I love and appreciate specialist online retailers (being one myself), so was happy to find the Ratchet Shop, and quickly found what I needed and ordered. My ratchet puller and strap arrived pretty promptly, and althpough i have yet to use it I am sure they will get the job done.”
