“Not knowing anything about chains, clevis pins etc i spoke to a gentleman with an american accent who explained all the jargon and talked me through what i needed and even did the order. Excellent. Delighted with what arrived; exactly what i wanted”

“Great product, delivery was more expensive than I really wanted to pay but then again the product is very heavy so i understand why it was that much. Overall very happy”

“Bought a couple of big 100mm wide ratchet straps. In fact I probably have spent that amount buying the cheap 25mm ones in the past only for them to break after a few uses. The ones from the Ratchet shop seem good quality, time will tell. John”

“Absolute fantastic service from first telephone call to items being delivered. Email confirmation of order, text messages to alert of pending delivery time, text message to inform of delivery with proof of recipients name. Items arrived on time, correct and excellent product ready for use. A pleasure to do business with, Thank you.”

“Very good communication about order status. Very quick delivery and excellent strong product for use with securing 208 Litre drums of oil. We will use this company again for some lighter use straps for securing other car parts and panels in our 8 delivery vehicles.”

“Very quick turnaround. I ordered items just before midday and they were delivered 13:17 the following day, outstanding,; plus I could track their progress in the van, which was spot on. The website images were not that clear for the continuous stops, as they could have been the soft strops with ends. I went for the flat strops to be on the safe side - excuse the pun. Prices were competitive even with postage. Highly recommended”

“Good fast service, I did not place my order online but when I phoned in the staff were more than happy to take my order, which was great. I have dealt with other Companies who just tell you they can only take orders online. Other than spelling my surname wrong, very happy. Linda Kerridge”

“Failed to deliver next day as the website implies. They promote and imply next day delivery 'if ordered by 1330hrs' and cleverly appear to charge for this service. Needless to say the goods didn't turn up the next day and they just blame the couriers! nothing written in their standard delivery 'tab' terms about this STANDARD service that could take up to 4 days due to guess what.. Human error, traffic problems, weather issues or simply malfunctions ! The Ratchet Shop - its not clear, not easily found in anything other than your T&C's and so its deceptive. If i could be bothered, I would continue my claim for a carriage refund as I feel this could be challenged.. you score very low for this with 1*”

Hi Piers we're truly sorry that you feel let down by us We have no intention of deceiving our customers I can assure you. DPD the couriers only offer a next-day service, this is their standard service. However sometimes problems crop up. We do quote that the next day status isnt binding but we always endeavour to get the product to our customer as soon as possible Once again, apologies for your discontent
